When it comes to insulation, most homeowners or project developers want to create a comfortable living/workspace that doesn't break the bank to heat and cool throughout the year. The improved technology of spray foam insulation allows your house to be more efficient with heating and cooling, lowering your house utilities.
We have a trained team with over 30 years of combined experience with installing insulation. We have several options when it comes to insulating your project. If you have an existing home and you want to upgrade to spray foam insulation, we also offer vacuum removal of existing fiberglass and disposal. Have a new home or building and want extra soundproofing? We provide that option as well by installing mineral wool in separation walls and floors.
Are you looking to lower your utility bill or build a brand-new home or office building? We are an insulation contractor providing high-quality services to our customers. Our team will install spray foam and / or fiberglass insulation for new and existing residential and commercial buildings / homes specifically in North Georgia and parts of Tennessee and North Carolina. Projects also include metal buildings, garage and home additions. Projects can be all foam, all fiberglass, or a hybrid project, using both foam and fiberglass insulation.
You know that your insulation was installed by a highly trained team of installers that know how to install insulation according to the manufacturer's specifications and current building and energy codes.
Open Cell Foam is completely water blown and does not off gas. Closed Cell Foam does contain a blowing agent but it is non toxic and is safe to the occupant.
The foam, once installed, is an inert plastic and is not toxic to the occupant.
Spray Foam insulation is a safe product to use to insulate your home as long as you are using a qualified professional that is installing the product per the manufacturers specifications.
Spray foam can be used in both new construction and existing homes in attics, walls and floors. In certain instances, it is recommended to use closed cell in lieu of open cell (mainly any areas below grade where humidity is a concern).
With the brands we install it is safe for homeowners to re inhabit the home 2 hours after we are finished.
If installed correctly by a qualified contractor, there aren't any side effects associated with the spray foam to the occupant.
No, spray foam doesn't support mold growth.
Spray foam is an investment you are making in your home for future gain. It is worth it considering that with the 30-40% reduction in utility costs the return on investment in this product is 3-5 years.

Many homes across Georgia and the country for that matter have crawlspaces. The majority of them are vented or will be vented when built. Sadly, local residential building codes still allow for them to be vented.
Let’s be clear. There is no such thing as a “good” vented crawlspace. If a home could have cancer it would derive from a vented crawlspace. The theory for a vented crawl space is to exhaust humidity from the crawlspace through venting. This actually makes the situation worse, especially in the summertime. When the hot humid air from outside enters the cooler humid crawlspace, the hot air cools. As it cools the humidity levels rise approximately 2.2% per degree that it cools.
In addition, occupants in the home breathe approximately 50% of the crawlspace air through stack effect which may affect occupants with allergies or are sensitive to mold spores etc. Lastly, a vented crawl space is a large part of energy loss in a home.
At Elite Contractor Services, we believe that everyone should have a safe and secure home, free from wood rot, fungus and pests. In order to do that, you need to reduce the condensation and high humidity underneath your home by encapsulating it.
The problem is high humidity and condensation causes damage to the home which makes your home unhealthy and unsafe to live in.
Mechanicals such as HVAC equipment and hot water heaters are commonly located in the crawl space. Duct leakage, running more and rust/deterioration are common symptoms in this area.
By adding one of our crawlspace dehumidifiers, we can keep your crawl space at 55% relative humidity year around. This system will control the humidity, eliminate condensation, control mold, prevent wood fungus and it will not be a conducive area for pests to thrive.
We understand that high humidity and condensation can cause issues which is why we provide a complete encapsulation of your crawlspace. We clean out old insulation, cover the ground, install a dehumidifier and seal up your crawlspace.
Crawlspace sealing with basement crawlspace insulation / spray foam, vapor barrier crawl space material and the best crawl space dehumidifier makes your home safer, healthier and more energy efficient.
